Hey, I'm Rohit.

I build small internet products and write about what I learn along the way.

I'm a product partner at Zero Point Studio. I help decide what gets built, shape the product and its public surface, find ways to get it in front of people, and keep it useful after launch. Agents handle a lot of the implementation now. I still own the outcome.

Most days I am somewhere between a product decision, a landing page, an API response, a support message, and an agent doing something surprising in a terminal.

What I help run

Paste a YouTube link and get text you can read, search, edit, translate, or feed into another tool. The website is free. The Chrome extension brings transcripts, summaries, and chat onto YouTube itself.

2M+ Google clicks · 4.4M unique visits · 1M+ active users
60K extension users · 4.8★

YouTube transcripts, search, channels, and playlists for software and AI agents. It works through a REST API, MCP, and installable agent skills. I work across the product, pricing, docs, integrations, distribution, and whatever breaks next.

15M+ transcripts each month · 1,700 paying customers

Things I made because the gap annoyed me

  • ScreenFocus moves keyboard focus to the Mac display under your pointer. I use multiple monitors and got tired of typing into the wrong one.
  • slk is a Slack CLI for macOS. It lets my agents read and send messages without a separate OAuth setup.

I also publish YouTube skills for agents. My ClawHub profile currently has 16 skills and more than 75K combined downloads.

The older internet

I have been building online since 2016. The early products were rough, weird, and very good at teaching me what people actually share.

One of them went viral from a room with no electricity. I sold books to friends to pay the DigitalOcean bill; the first payout bought a solar panel. A later group of anonymous social products reached 17 million registered users. On the busiest day, 1.7 million people showed up. Then the distribution disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived.

That is probably why I care as much about how a product travels as how it is built.
