pytest-django 4.13.0 (released 2026-08-06) references `_pre_setup_ran_eagerly`, an attribute that exists on Django 5.x's TransactionTestCase but not in Django 4.2, causing AttributeError on all tests using the @pytest.mark.django_db marker. Pin to <4.13.0 until a compatible release is available. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 4.6 <noreply@anthropic.com>
