Hi, I'm Mason

Data Engineer building reliable AWS data platforms, Airflow workflows, and RAG systems.

I care about pipelines that are observable, recoverable, and simple enough to operate.

Current Focus

  • Building and operating ASK Seoul's Weather/Traffic lakehouse pipelines with Airflow, R2, Iceberg, dbt, and D1
  • Designing idempotent recovery paths for large scheduled loads with PyIceberg transactions and incremental MERGE
  • Strengthening data contracts, freshness checks, and observability for reliable day-to-day operation
  • Extending curated public-data products to external AI agents through open-source skill and API integrations
