There is a CI failure at https://github.com/davidgiven/ack/actions/runs/29450688377/job/87474335066?pr=366#step:4:158 but it has nothing to do with the PR - Lua is failing on Windows. |

Yes, I agree. I suspect the windows CI builders have upgraded Lua and the semantics have changed. Thank you for this! I'll merge it once the OSX build finishes. |

Looks like macOS CI also has an unrelated problem.
