There is a CI failure at https://github.com/davidgiven/ack/actions/runs/29450688377/job/87474335066?pr=366#step:4:158 but it has nothing to do with the PR - Lua is failing on Windows.

Yes, I agree. I suspect the windows CI builders have upgraded Lua and the semantics have changed.

Thank you for this! I'll merge it once the OSX build finishes.

Looks like macOS CI also has an unrelated problem.

.obj/staging/bin/ack: .obj/staging/lib/ack/em_m2 died with signal 5
