What is NullLag?

NullLag is a fast DNS benchmark, switcher, and network optimization utility for Windows. It allows you to benchmark 30+ public DNS servers to find the lowest latency connection, switch your active DNS in one click, and toggle gaming network tweaks (Nagle's Algorithm, Network Throttling, RSC, LSO, Flow Control, Interrupt Moderation).

Quick Start

📥 Pre-Built Executable

Download the ready-to-run installer:

1. Go to Releases
2. Download NullLag Setup 1.1.1.exe
3. Run the installer (requires Administrator privileges for network adapter changes)

Commands

How It Works

• DNS Benchmark: Queries each DNS server directly using Node's dns.Resolver with process.hrtime.bigint() high-precision timers across configurable iterations.
• DNS Modification: Modifies adapter settings via Set-DnsClientServerAddress.
• Gaming Tweaks: Modifies registry parameters under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\ and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile, alongside netsh and Set-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty.
