Validate DVS contour sample count parameters

Summary

• validate DVS point-process contour_samples as integer-like values greater than two instead of silently truncating fractional values
• normalize accepted integer-like values on PointProcessUpdateConfig
• add regression tests for fractional/text contour sample counts

Testing

• Targeted standalone validation/syntax checks were performed while preparing the change.
• Full CI should run on the PR.
