CI failure is not related to this PR. The test suite passes (5218 passed), but the Black formatting check flags 6 pre-existing files (ann.py, memoryone.py, qlearner.py, zero_determinant.py, test_memoryone.py, test_qlearner.py) that need reformatting. None of these files were modified in this PR. |

Note: There is a pre-existing test failure in
test_fingerprint.py::test_fingeprint_explicit_probedue to numpy version incompatibility (related to #1447). This PR does not introduce any test changes.
