Describe the bug

I registered on DevGlobe using my GitHub account, but my GitHub profile is not appearing on the DevGlobe map.

My GitHub username is @eincioch and my location is Peru.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to DevGlobe.
2. Sign in/register using GitHub.
3. Complete the registration process.
4. Set the location/country to Peru.
5. Open the DevGlobe map and search for Peru or my GitHub username.
6. My profile is not displayed on the map.

Expected behavior

After completing the registration, my GitHub profile @eincioch should appear on the DevGlobe map in Peru.

Actual behavior

My registration appears to be completed successfully, but my GitHub user @eincioch does not appear on the map under Peru.

• OS: Windows

Thanks @eincioch for filing this issue and for including the reproduction details.

Your profile is approved and present in the public developer feed. We found that the saved location, Perú, did not match the map and text-search country key, Peru, because country comparisons were accent-sensitive. The fix now normalizes country names for comparison while preserving their original display text, so both Peru and Perú resolve correctly.

The fix has been implemented and validated with regression tests and a production build. Please try again after the next deployment.
