Describe the bug
When typing @ with some letters from a file name (in an allowed directory), copilot doesn't autocomplete path and doesn't suggest any file. When type just @, it just suggest the current directory root and a temp folder. As soon as I start typing letters, it doesn't suggest anything anymore.
Affected version
GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.63.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Type @ to reference a file
- Start typing the filename from a file in an allowed folder
- Copilot doesn't autocomplete anything and doesn't suggest any file
Expected behavior
Copilot should find and suggest any file which name matches the pattern in the allowed folders
Additional context
OS: Mac OS 26.3 (25D125)
CPU: Apple Silicon M2 Pro
Terminal: iTerm2
Shell: Oh-my-zsh
It's been few versions I have this this issue, at least since 1.0.61
