GitRepo changes are not being synced unless the source-controller pod is restarted!

we use flux v2.5.1 and sometimes we do see a odd behaviour of flux not syncing Github code changes! source-controller pods is up and show we do see ReconciliationSucceeded few seconds ago but the changes were not synced. when we restart source-controller pod then immediately we do see the changes reflected!

we are seeing this quite a lot these days, is there anything you can help with this!

That version is no longer supported, it has reached end of life one quarter ago, please upgrade to latest Flux:

fluxcd/flux2#5572

Also, for troubleshooting a race we need a lot more info about your setup and debug logs/events/etc.

hello @matheuscscp , we will update but wondering if we may face error again! source controller is smoehow stuck and couldnt reconcilie changes untill restarted. we only see the below in the logs.. due to this at 2 AM blocking Prod changes, we had to restart source-contorller pods! we tryly appreiciate any workaround or fix for this please.

After the failed to checkout error, source-controller should retry with backoff, if the error persists the backoff goes up to 15m delays between retires. Check the logs, the retries should be there.
